3mm thick Vinyl Straps are the thickest in the industry and are double-wrapped around the aluminum frame and terminated by wrapping the vinyl strap around itself to "hide" the installation rivets.  The combination of installation rivets and double-wrap technique results in vinyl straps that do not pull away from the frame as easier-to-assemble single-wrap installations.  The vinyl straps have UV and mildew inhibitors.
